  •  A change agent dedicated to continuous process improvement in the face of constantly changing and evolving environment. While being extremely results-oriented, I have been proactive in resolving issues at departmental level, for the past eighteen years. Also, I am a skilled operations Manager with solid experience in managing multiple projects in a cultural and traditional setting. This involves intensive planning, directing proceedings, controlling human and financial resources, and evaluating all departmental activities.

I have, in 2015, completed a Post-Masters certificate in Business studies, from Northcentral University in the United States of America (USA). This qualification comes after an MSc in Organizational Leadership, obtained from the Leeds Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2010. On the other hand, my junior degree in a BSc (Hons) in Hotel, Tourism and Institutional Management obtained from the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK in 1986.

I have been involved in Company and National Projects, including: establishing an Advisory Council for the Hospitality and Tourism Industry; Transformation of the University of Swaziland catering facilities from in-house to outsourced management; Pioneering the formation of the only Cultural Village in the country; and leading advocacy for Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) in the Hospitality and Tourism industry.

     In particular, I have:

    • Partnered successfully with Government Ministries to manage cultural events, such as the Reed-dance, Incwala, Marula Festival and many others occurring throughout the year.
    • Created new revenue streams for the company through contracting out management expertise in management of events, such as the Kings’ Birthday, Easter Conventions and International Conferences.
    • Involved in staff development, after rolling out strategic plans and conducting restructuring, thereafter conducting evaluations on the effectiveness of the change processes.
